MScPT, Dry Needling, Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST)
Hello! I’m Robyn—a dedicated physiotherapist, trail runner, and proud cat mom.
I graduated from the Master of Science in Physical Therapy program at the University of Alberta in 2016, after completing my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2014. While I was in university, I worked as a personal trainer for many years, which deepened my passion for fitness and movement. I hold certifications in Clinical Pilates at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, as well as Kineticore Functional Dry Needling Level I/II and Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) certification.
My passion for physiotherapy is rooted in the belief that movement and exercise are the best medicine for the body, mind, and soul. I love connecting with my patients, guiding them through their individual journeys, and celebrating their successes. My treatment style is tailored to your unique needs and is grounded in therapeutic exercise, education, manual therapy, and innovative approaches like Clinical Pilates and dry needling.
My own fitness journey—spanning kinesiology, personal training, and a variety of athletic pursuits—has shown me the transformative power of strength and conditioning in rehabilitation. Whether you’re recovering from an injury or striving to enhance your mobility, health, and fitness, I’m here to help.
I believe innovation is key to challenging the body to recover, adapt, and “move better.” I strive to make rehabilitation engaging and enjoyable—something you want to do, not just something you have to do. With a strong interest in sports injury rehabilitation and prevention, I enjoy working with all types of patients and athletes, and I am committed to lifelong learning in my field.
Outside the clinic, you’ll find me on the trails, running through Edmonton’s beautiful landscapes. I’ve dabbled in many sports, such as bodybuilding, powerlifting, OCR, Olympic lifting, CrossFit, Gravel biking and Hyrox. When I’m not moving, I enjoy reading, exploring new coffee shops and restaurants, and spending quality time with family, friends, and my cat Bea.
Let’s work together to help you move better, feel better, and live better!
