MScPT
Hi, I’m Rachel! I’m a physiotherapy intern at Pivotal Northgate. I completed my Bachelor of Kinesiology and my Masters of Science in Physical Therapy degrees from the University of Alberta. Over the years, I have been able to see and experience the many ways that physiotherapy can profoundly make a difference in people’s lives. As a result, my passion for physiotherapy is greatly intertwined with my values of helping others and promoting active and healthy living. Furthermore, becoming a physiotherapist and working with the Pivotal team has been a full circle experience, as I was a previous volunteer and also worked at the clinic as a Kinesiologist.
One of the most important components of physiotherapy is building connections with my patients, no matter their age or condition. I strive to personalize and tailor my treatments to each patient, their condition, and their goals. In my treatment approach, I provide patients with education, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercises. My goals are to help you get moving better and to help you return to the activities that are important to you! During my free time, I love working out at the gym, going on walks with my dog Lewy (Dachshund), traveling the world, and spending time with my friends and family!
