Quinn Forrester

Registered Massage Therapist

Hello! I’m Quinn. I’m originally from Grande Prairie, Alberta but have lived in the Edmonton area for the last five years. I recently graduated from the MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy 2200-hour program. Prior to massage school, I worked in the hospitality industry for 21 years in a variety of roles. I’m also a former freestyle wrestler who reaped the benefits of manual therapies for many years. Afterwards as a coach, I was a big champion of massage therapy for recovery and post-training body maintenance. This period was a meaningful part of my life. As a result, I was driven to become a Registered Massage Therapist returning to my early interest in healthcare, rehabilitation, and body mechanics.

Communication is key to any relationship and massage therapy is no different. It’s important for me to first learn about your recovery goals. Everyone responds differently to body work; and as such, I tailor your treatment plan around your chief condition. My treatment approach includes Swedish and Therapeutic Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Joint Mobilizations and Glides, PNF Stretching, and Remedial Exercise. I plan to soon add additional modalities to my repertoire including Instrumental Assisted Techniques (Cupping, Gua Sha), and TMJ massage therapies.

In my downtime, I spend as much time as possible with my wife and two kids. We enjoy camping, day trips to the lake, and just generally being outdoors. I also enjoy travelling and have visited Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Italy, and China. I look forward to adding more countries to that list! Last but not least, I’m always on the lookout for my next scuba diving destination!
