Hi, my name is Jenna! I completed my Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta after finishing my Bachelors of Human Kinetics at the University of British Columbia – Okanagan. During my time in Kelowna, I worked for campus recreation and was an athletic trainer for our women’s rugby team! During the summers, I spent most of my time as a strength and conditioning coach for elite hockey players, inspired by my time playing women’s competitive hockey. These experiences of providing both rehab and exercise training drove me to pursue a career that seamlessly blends these two passions.
My treatment style primarily focuses on the use of therapeutic exercise prescription to address musculoskeletal conditions, in conjunction with manual therapy techniques and education. I believe that getting to know each client on an individual basis is key to a successful rehab outcome, gearing treatment towards personal interests and goals in order to achieve long-term benefits.
When I’m not in the clinic, you can find me weight training in the gym, exploring the trails around Edmonton, testing out new recipes, hanging out with family and friends, or watching the Flames play (hometown girl, sorry!).
