Brandon Trinh

Physiotherapist

Hi! My name is Brandon, and I’m a physiotherapist intern at Pivotal—Northgate. I completed my Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta after graduating with a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the same university. I found my calling for physiotherapy when I was sitting in my anatomy lectures in undergrad. I was incredibly fascinated by the human body and keen to learn more. That curiosity led me to volunteer at various clinics, where I discovered how much I enjoy connecting with patients and helping them achieve their goals.

My approach to treatment focuses on putting the patient first and their condition second. I understand that two patients with the same injury can experience it in entirely different ways, so I tailor each treatment plan to fit individual needs. I use a combination of therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and education to help patients return to the activities they love. My special interests include shoulder rehabilitation and chronic pain management.

Outside of the clinic, you can catch me curling – both in the gym and on the ice! I have a profound love for being active and will never pass up an opportunity to play some badminton, volleyball or go on a hike. Beyond sports, I’ve got a passion for playing music with my excessive instrument collection!
