Hi, I’m Ashley! I was born and raised in Edmonton, AB, but I’ve also spent a few years living in Bruderheim, AB. I’m a registered massage therapist at Pivotal Physiotherapy – Fort Saskatchewan. Before I became a massage therapist, I was a welder for 5 years until I realized I needed a change to a healthier and fulfilling job where I could help people. Therefore, I pursued education in massage therapy, and graduated from MH Vicars 2200 hours program in 2018. I’m also registered with the National Health Practitioners of Canada.
What I love the most about my job is the chance to make a difference in my patients’ lives and knowing that I’m doing something to help them achieve pain relief and/or improved movement. I believe that it’s important for us as RMTs to expand our knowledge. Therefore, I also offer Cupping Therapy and plan to add modalities in the near future such as visceral manipulation, rock gliding and advanced myofascial treatment.
When I’m not at work, I spend all my time with my family, my daughter Kaitlyn, and my dog Lily. Family is the most important thing to me other than my job. I especially enjoy spending our time together hiking, camping, doing obstacle races, yoga retreats, skiing, movies, and family game night.
