Hello, I’m Scott.
I’m a Graduate from Makami College, Advanced Massage Therapy 3000hr program in 2023. Before I got into massage therapy, I was in the fitness industry as a personal trainer. I fell in love with the health and fitness industry because I got to see people reach their goals. I also fell in love with helping people become pain free from lingering injuries that have been neglected through time. I was introduced to a treatment called Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST), and that forever changed how I viewed the human body and that’s what helped gravitate me towards pursuing massage therapy. I’ve always been involved in sports and athletics to some degree. As an athlete I understand the demand we put on ourselves through training, as well I understand the importance for recovery and rehabilitation.
I enjoy working with all types of people and hearing your story. I enjoy working with athletes either preparing you for games/competitions or helping with the recovery process during the off season. The secret to getting great treatment is through communication. Everybody is different and not every treatment will be the same. My approach to practice is very much therapeutic. I am looking at what brings you in today and how you can leave feeling better than when you came in. There will be times where relaxation is the answer and other times we might need a little more pressure to help those stubborn muscles relax. Communication with your therapist is key to finding what works for you and what is not working. Having multiple different styles and techniques, I’m sure we can find what works for you.
In my down time I am in the gym training and I compete as a competitive powerlifter, with my goal being to reach a national level at some point. I enjoy being outdoors and trying new activities that the city has to offer. Ever since Covid started I’ve started seeing food bloggers post about restaurants and cafes throughout the city and it makes me want to try them all.
