Hi, my name is Wendy Tian (she/her), and I am a kinesiologist at Pivotal Physiotherapy at both High Performance Centre and Athletic Recovery Center (ARC).
I started my journey with ARC by Pivotal as a student kinesiologist and continued with Pivotal after finishing my Bachelors in Kinesiology at the University of Alberta. Pivotal Physiotherapy has supported me not only through my academic career, but also through my athletic experiences. When I started as a student, a lot of patience and mentoring were provided, and everyone had confidence in me which contributed to how far I have made today. When I am not working, you will catch me throwing a plastic frisbee around. I have been playing Ultimate Frisbee nationally and internationally since 2016, and I have loved every second of it. All the amazing therapists at Pivotal have treated me with all my injuries from Ultimate Frisbee as well.
I am excited to apply what I have learnt to helping people achieve their health goals and pursue an active lifestyle. I appreciate how much Pivotal has taught me and I am looking forward to passing that around!
