MScPT, Vestibular Rehab Level 1
Hello! My name is Joel. I transitioned from a career in financial planning in Vancouver to pursue a career in physiotherapy, driven by my desire to better resonate with my core values: helping others, promoting health, and embracing sport and recreation. I earned my MScPT from the University of Alberta and have undertaken postgraduate courses specializing in vestibular rehabilitation.
My primary goal is to equip clients with the skills they need to sustain their health in the long run, be it returning to competitive sports or simply enjoying a stroll around the block with their grandchildren. In addition to educational guidance, I offer manual therapy techniques to alleviate present discomforts. While I find fulfillment in assisting all clients, I have a distinct passion for working with youth athletes in team sports, martial arts, and strength athletes.
Outside of my professional life, I am an avid cyclist and skier. Much of my spare time is dedicated to chauffeuring my three children to their various activities.
