Hello! My name is Flora and I’m a Registered Massage Therapist at Pivotal – Northgate. Prior to Massage Therapy, I received my Diploma as a Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) and have 4 years of clinical background experience. My interest in human anatomy and physiology grew significantly through my clinical journey and I began an interest in Massage Therapy. I’m certified in many techniques, such as Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Massage, Sports Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Trigger Point Release, and Myofascial Release. Along with my current certifications, I am able to match clients’ needs with the techniques that will be most effective in treating their condition and managing their symptoms.
My treatment approach caters to what my patient is aiming to achieve. I enjoy collaborating with my patients to fully understand their particular hindrance and creating a treatment plan to help achieve their goals. As I sympathize with tension headaches and neck/shoulder pains, I have a particular interest in treating these conditions.
I moved to Edmonton from Saskatoon many years ago but prior to that, my family and I moved to Canada from Turkey. In 2016, I had the opportunity to move to Ilsan, South Korea and I instantly fell in love with Korean culture and its history. I would love the opportunity to move there again! I am fluent in Persian, Turkish, and am currently studying Korean.
