Cat recently joined our Fort Saskatchewan Massage Therapy team earlier this year. She actually grew up in Fort Saskatchewan and is ecstatic to be working in her own community.

Cat always knew she wanted to be in the heath care industry. “I always had a fascination with how the body works so when I started to look into which direction I wanted to follow, I found massage therapy and it was perfect.”

“My favorite part about being a registered massage therapist is seeing progress in my clients and being able to make a treatment plan that helps people reach their goals.”

She wishes to continue to build her clientele in years to come and hopefully become full-time at Pivotal Physiotherapy.

Cat is armed with an arsenal of therapeutic techniques that she applies with her clients. “I use therapeutic techniques which usually include: relaxation, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release.”

Conditions that Cat commonly treats:

  • Chronic pain syndrome
  • Orthopedic Rehabilitation
  • Sports injuries
  • Motor vehicle related injuries.

“I am very passionate about fitness and bike riding. Having knowledge of anatomy is very handy when it comes to stretching after a good workout or just making sure that I don’t get injured from over using my muscles.”

A balanced work and play lifestyle is very important to Cat. Along with enjoying the outdoors in her spare time, she loves photography and travel.
